Dahab Cats
Saving the cats of Dahab, Egypt, who have nowhere else to go
Who We Are
Dahab Cats is an independent, not-for-profit welfare organisation in Dahab, Egypt. We care for, rescue and rehabilitate vulnerable street cats and kittens. We do this because there is no government support for animals in Egypt, so individuals like us commit to alleviating the daily suffering of the many street cats.
Dahab Cats was founded by one woman, from a simple desire to help these cats who had nowhere to go. What started with just one cat, then a few rescues, has grown into a shelter caring for over 100 cats and kittens each year!
We believe every life, even the small furry ones, deserves care and love. We are entirely donation-based, so we are so grateful and proud of our community.
We hope you join us!
